Tips and ideas on How To lose the Weight for Moms

Mom,  are you pregnant again?

I had my youngest son last September 2010 and how time fly by so quickly.  As time went by, my older children were watching my growth, not their little brother’s growth. Funny but sad because it is true the weight that I gained during my pregnancy never seem to go away.  I was almost 80 kg and only 5’ 3” tall! Luckily, I am not the kind of person who lose heart whenever I was told that I was FAT! Of course, my children’s remarked about my doubled-chin and my ‘1 packed-abs’  hurt me a little . . . However, when they asked the question, “Mom, are you pregnant again?” It was a big slap on my face.. I was FAT. Nevertheless, I was lucky because I did not have “the normal package” for an obese person. The package I meant was cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes. As usual, the internet is where I turn to in finding information to guide through this painful journey. Through my search, I found some great articles and tips on how to live a healthy life. There are also great recipes to try. Here, on my blog, I would like to share them with all the Moms that are going through the same experience. Hopefully, we can go through this together and be back on the right track.

Are you ready to change?

Life comes by, life goes by and it will not wait for us. If you are slow, you might be left behind. However, how many of us, Moms, are ready to embrace changes in our lives?

Well, for many of us, these changes are easier said than done. Some of us are held up in our past believing that what we had learnt will still work for us in dealing with people thus allowing us to survive, thrive and fit in. Although these may work, we are going to be stuck forever down memory lane! The world is moving fast with or without us. What about the children? What are we going to teach them? Should they be doing the same things as we are doing? Our past may have worked for us but are we so sure it will work for them? Comparing those years back then to now, the time is far more challenging in many ways that we can’t imagine. The scariest thing is it’s changing so fast! OMG! I am not willing to risk my children’s future. We were taught good values during our time and we would not be where are right now if not for that values. I see no problem in instilling the same values nevertheless we must understand that there are values that need to be updated to suit the amazing new world.

Bearing that in mind, as a mom of six, I must to learn to thrive in the midst of change and learn to be adaptable by being open to new ideas and accepting change. Are you ready to do the same thing as I do?

I believe that many other moms have had to fight for survival and every table-scrap that came their way. I salute these moms! One thing I do know for sure is our mindset and behavior can be controlled to help us achieve our dream and vision. What say you? Are you ready to change and go with the flow?

I picked this up on the internet one day and would like to share it with you to help us, Moms, to aim high in our lives.

The truth of the matter is that win-win is always possible. When you are able to see beyond the ego and recognize the abundance that is available, people, minds, and ideas come together and can create amazing changes that improve the current scenarios for many, many people. When you work with people who have this abundant and generous attitude, you are uplifted, the team soars, and amazing energy and creativity is unleashed. This is much harder to do, to sustain, and to elevate within others when you encounter individuals driven by the thought of scarcity and competition.

People like Steve Jobs are visionaries that have sought to bring about such shifts in society and in business. One thing I've learned along the way is that it is often better to take the high road. This isn't about judging others as wrong or seeing yourself as better than others. This is about recognizing your truth as to how you wish to BE in the world. Don't compromise your integrity. Don't get caught up in the competition. See the vision, see the outcome, feel the purpose and passion you're driven to offer the world, and give it freely. We all die. You can't take anything from this life with you. So give what you have to offer
the world. What is not given is lost forever.

If your goal is to truly bring about a positive change and serve others, how it is accomplished becomes less important and seeing it accomplished becomes more important. While it may be a blow to your ego when others criticize your inspiration, or someone takes the credit for something you've introduced, holding fast to the benefits for everyone will often soften the sting. You do need to pick and choose those places where you'll offer yourself, the key is to evaluate whether it is serving a common good. When you're getting compensated for your contributions, gratitude would serve you spirit of peace. If you continually feel abused and stomped on, maybe it is time to move on to a more collaborative team, as well as a more receptive and appreciative audience.

Knowing that you are accomplishing your purpose and living your passion will be reward. In time, it will be recognized. Imposters will eventually be seen and heart & soul will always outlast the mind & ego. Along the way, through the journey that is your life and career, you will need to hold fast to the true inner qualities and nature of the brilliance that is you. Don't allow these negative experiences to become something that undermines your value. You are not the negative experience. Often times, the negativity we experience from others, is more a reflection of them and less about who you are.

We all have different lenses, different gifts, different wiring, and different experiences. Difference is not something to be judged, it is a gift of diversity that brings the pieces of the puzzle of life together and creates a society, a solution, a technology, etc., together for the benefit of us all. Don't doubt yourself when others cannot see the vision you see. Keep true, keep your intentions, and you will attract the right support, the right people, and the right opportunities. Lower the ego and aim high the vision.

I hope this will inspire you as it did me to be prepared to face the forever changing world with pride and dignity for the rest of our lives.
